i appreciate that the design philosophy looks like the end result of feeding hundreds of edgy gamer webcomics from 1999-2004 into a markov chain working to produce a game design document
but the look of that gameplay sucks all the wind out of my sails to the point that i'm more interested in potential C&D scenarios from nintendo et.al than the game itself
if you had interspersed the game with clips from that tf2 knockoff "final combat" i wouldn't have blinked once
