I thought this was horrible. I starts out OK as a decent parody of old b-movies and such, but then quickly devolves into smashing you over the head repeatedly with the most retarded, unsubtle gags in existence and, just to make sure you got the joke the first time, sits down on a stool and milks that joke for everything it's possibly worth.

Don't listen to Stan. This movie is brilliantly stupid.

Unfortunately, the trailer doesn't do the film justice.

No, listen to me.
I'm a bouncer.

Too soon. Too soon.

Killer Joe - 2007-11-07

The movie is good, would have been better with a pissed off editor.

Benzene265 - 2007-11-07

It looks like the kind of movie that has to be watched with friends for proper heckling, much like real horror movies.

I don't believe tristar, or any other big name production company has the "right" to produce grindhouse styled exploitation films, bad, or b movies.
That is, Snakes on a Plane, grindhouse double feature, that SS Werewolf flick, and this movie fail because they're all big budget films trying to look small - while attempting to make huge profit through countless showings in mainstream theaters.

kingarthur - 2007-11-08

holy shit! You mean entertainment companies are motivated by profit??? Gasp!

OxygenThief - 2007-11-08

This movie was filmed in ten days and cost 0,000. It was picked up by Sony only after being shown at independent festivals; they never instigated it's production. It's brief showing in "mainstream theatres" only grossed 0,000.

Basically, you're an idiot.

Unmerciful Crushing Force - 2007-11-09

The digital video kinda kills the illusion of B-movieness more than anything else. And the text gags get a little old towards the end.

Still, possibly the best B-movie send up since The Good German.

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2009-08-28

More B movie shlock, and less romantic comedies starring the ex cast of Friends or anything Nicholas Cage. Take note, Hollywood.
