this is exactly how I travel around town, selling the swords I've hand-made

would have been funnier if somebody got sniped at the end
would have been a poetic lesson if they hit an IED. STOP FUCKING AROUND BEFORE YOU GET SOMEONE KILLED
they don't deserve to die, i'm just saying it would have made the video better

Hey, if there's one place you should be allowed to ghost ride, it's the middle of the desert.

I am 100% behind this

I like to imagine that ever since the birth of radio music broadcasts, and early music recording and playback devices, soldiers in every war have found some moment off the field of battle to play a bit of music, and maybe even dance a bit.
Somehow though, I don't think it's ever been this ridiculous. I have yet to see footage of G.I.s getting their funky groove on, or for that matter doing anything approaching empty-car surfing at the behest of crazy thumping lyrics. I'd like to see that footage, though.

As stupid as "ghost riding" is, I have to 5 star troops getting a moment to goof off in such a shitty place.

between this, the party van, and the soldiers following ducks around, iraq seriously seems like the funnest goddamn place on earth.
It really is a giant frat house, except for the part where instead of keggers, they have random explosions and sniper attacks.
Oh, and no booze, which is why they do shit like this instead.
Dammit I have to know about this duck video.

They be ballin, yo.

From what I understand, the worst part of Iraq is that it is boring. At least to my friend that is over there. Maybe they just don't have much use for an artillery officer.
Nice to see they are keeping busy.

Five stars for the "getting myself 1starred as an object lesson" tag - i'd give you six, if I could, if you added "your tax dollars at work"...

I wonder how this will fit into the American History textbooks of 2050.

Hey kids, I know your parent's seem stupid, but that's becuase they were raised by THESE folks: [Cue video]
The music you hear was popularly refered to as "Rap" or "Hip-hop," and was one of the earliest predecessors to the modern "Barbershop Octet" of today. This is also where the popular suffix "-izzle" originated from.

I sincerely hope this is the lasting legacy of the Iraq War. Fifty years from now it'll be five or six warring Sunni/Shiite city-states but every so often they all get together to get hyphy.
Also holy shit the guy ghost riding with a LOADED RIFLE with ATTACHED GRENADE LAUNCHER. Oo-rah.
you ain't really ghost ridin unless you do it in full battle rattle
|ChocFullOfFunk - 2008-04-21 |
Jesus christ this is funny.
