Yes, but most of the younger ones would have live long enough to have gone from horse draw carriages lit with kerosene lamps to watching TV and seeing video of astronauts on the Moon broacast live from the USA using communication satellites.
I don't live in London so I don't know how much is still there but I can tell Big Ben still is!
