I don't mind the one star (I'd one or two star this if I didn't like it), but I'd like to point out that it speaks loads of your character and personality that you feel this strongly about a show that has been off the air for over ten years.
I think splatterbabble has uncomfortable memories about being aroused by the time he saw Mike jumping around in those tiny tiny gold shorts so he has to denegrate him at every turn to make up for the fact that he's a closet gay babby.
But, really, there was an interview with Joel Hodgeson where he and Trace Belleau (sp?) stated that the show wasn't for everyone and that only a minority of watchers would get some of the jokes, at least in the way they intended. Mike, though, dropped the sophistication when he took over and went for groans and chuckles rather than jokes that you actually had to think about.
Yes, I know Mike has been a writer for the show since the start, but he's like the mother-in-law that should never make decisions for you.
