Now that the country has terrifying amounts of debt, 22 states are proposing anti-illegal immigration laws similar to Arizona's, several states are proposing anti-national heathcare laws, the national unemployment rate is nearly in double digits, we've got record numbers of people on food stamps, racial and partisan tensions are out of control (see the above comment), not as many people feel the way Andy Rooney did, way back then. To be fair, some of the fault lies with the Senate and Congress and some events that President Obama had no control over. But he's The President is the guy everyone sees the most so he takes the blame no matter who he is.
