Mega Man 2 the hardest of the series? Wha the fuuuuuuuuck?
|
|
FABIO - 2011-08-14 It was by far the easiest game of the series, spinoffs and all.
That's probably what made it the most fun. You could get creative in all the ways to kick its ass.
|
Caminante Nocturno - 2011-08-14 They notched down the difficulty for the American release.
|
FABIO - 2011-08-14 The metal blade still kicks everything's ass from what I'm seeing.
The most gloriously overpowered weapon in the series is what made this game so easy.

|
FABIO - 2011-08-14 Not to mention the MIND BLOWING last boss and ending.
Terror is the dripping slime from MM2's music-less last level.

EvilHomer - 2011-08-15 Whether it was the hardest or not, MM2 was clearly the best.
I still catch myself humming the Wily's Castle theme on a weekly basis. And yeah, the Metal Blade was so badass, it basically made the entire American version a cakewalk. I remember reading some Nintendo Power article where they recommended pouncing Metal Man as your third or fourth boss, but screw that. Get it first and the game's pretty much over.

Easiest game of the series my ballsack. Mega Man X is the easiest, by far. And what about that Battle Network Series? Or that typing simulator?

twinkieafternoon - 2011-08-14 Mega Man Soccer kicked my ass, I'll tell you what.

I had no idea Ebisumaru was based on someone at Konami. I always figured all the Goemon stuff came from Japanese folklore or something.
|
Jet Bin Fever - 2011-08-15 Well, there was a Goemon who was a legendary outlaw during the feudal period in Japan. He was a contemporary of Nobunaga, Hideyoshi and those guys. There are some pretty cool stories about him out there.

Is anyone else slowly picking up real world Japanese language skills from this show? The other day, my friend nearly backed into a car, and I started shouting "abunai!" to warn him.
