Most of what I know about this show comes from Rudy on Misfits.

I used cry my eyes out at the end of each episode because I was sad that the dog didn't have a family who would pet him and take care of him.

I met the Littlest Hobo. Actually it was 5 or so dogs. I met them all at my school. Happiest day of my 6 years on the planet.

BorrowedSolution - 2014-01-02 Hahaha, that made me think of the Musk Dogs from Alastair Reynold's Pushing Ice. All thrashing limbs and urine being sprayed everywhere.
Thanks!

Rooker might be a jerk, but is it really his fault that the guy's kid ate the rat poison? He points to the poisoned food, explains that it can kill ten coyotes, and then the father leaves his kid outside unsupervised. Right next to the rat poison that was just mentioned.

My cats love this show. They hang out on the couch on Saturday mornings beside me and watch it religiously. They don't care much for the talky bits, but when Hobo starts running in fields and barking? Gangbusters. Those cats are just fucking glued in and wired for sound. They dig the show so much that I turn on the tv for the opening theme (that whistling two-note sound right at the start) and they come ripping down from whatever orifice they scurried into, just to watch The Hobo.
I'm not even making this up. That's the best part.

Bort - 2014-01-02 Five stars for your cats. Gonna have to try it with mine.

When I was a little kid, I could read well above my age but the "Starring LONDON in" part of the credits always confused the hell out of me. I thought London was a city in England, this doesn't look like England. Was it this "London, Ontario" I was vaguely aware of? It just never clicked that "London" was the name of the dog.
