Isn't this the guy behind those horrible Left Behind books or am I thinking of someone else?
Anyway, a blind squirrel is finding a nut here for the wrong reasons. A correction in the next two years is fairly likely considering the crap that still goes on in Wall Street - and the fact that the lessons of 2008 and 2009 weren't completely learned and those who caused it weren't really punished.
I still invest in the market though - because you can make more money there by doing absolutely jack squat than anywhere else in the world.
No, this is John Hagee. He has nothing to do with Left Behind, however he has written many books, both fiction and nonfiction about how *insert religious scaremongering target of the year* is going to be the end of the world.
His latest grift is the Four Blood Moons books which got this whole Christofascist bullshit started about how the reason we're getting 4 blood moons this year is because Obama is a heathen anti-christ muslim gay communist or whatever.
Hagee has shown up in a few end of the world movies from Cloud Ten pictures like the laughably bad "Tribulation" starring Gary Busey, Howie Mandel and Margot Kidder. Cloud Ten also made the recent "Left Behind" monstrosity, in which Hagee has a cameo.
I wonder what the born again folk would think if they knew that the money they pay to watch this crap ends up in the pockets of down on their luck actors' divorce and bankruptcy attorneys.
Forget the stock market, I'd take a 50% correction in property tax rates since mine have practically doubled since the early '00s and another real estate crash to bring housing prices back to earth again.
