"Let them eat cake."
"opened up and just raring to go by Easter"
The big difference being that "let them eat cake" is a mistranslation of an apocryphal anecdote Rousseau wrote when Marie Antoinette was only 8 or 9 years old, whereas the other was said on national TV a few days ago.

There: theocracy overthrows the extravagantly rich.
Here: The extravagantly rich ARE the theocracy!
‘I pledge allegiance to the dollar and the banana republic for which it stands...’
Better. Thank you both.

The sad thing is when I was school age none of this was in any curriculum. Iran had always just been an angry old man in black shaking his fist. All that pre revolution stuff where the US was directly responsible for that old man? Obviously kids didn't need to know that stuff. And to most Americans Iran just means a cartoon caricature of Saturday morning TV baddies.
