Dude's crying he was attacked. Slime like him would have been tarred and feathered during the revolution.

casualcollapse - 2020-08-28

funny you should say that because I'm pretty certain that my final tweet saying that he should get tarred and feathered got me finally booted off of Twitter

The death cult doublethink of both worshiping strength AND being helpless victims of boogeymen liberals.

SolRo - 2020-08-28

Two Jar Slave - 2020-08-28

When you fetishize strength, you have to constantly "demonstrate" it by inventing or exaggerating antagonistic situations. My mother does this: by her telling, every female co-worker, neighbour, and relative has it out for her, so she constantly gets to prove how strong, smart, resilient etc. she is.

The POTUS and his cohort have the emotional development of a touchy postmenopausal secretary.

So let me get this right.

Rand Paul, whose response to the Breonna Taylor shooting was to draft legislation, entitled the Breonna Taylor Act, to make no-knock warrants ILLEGAL, because he opposed them, is the bad guy now.

Okay. Yeah. What the fuck do you want him to do? Honest question. What more could he do? Do you think these people have any fucking clue who he is?

Do YOU have any fucking clue who he is?

Jesus this is so stupid.

SolRo - 2020-08-29

I know who he is. He’s a terrible human being and one publicly stunt won’t fix that

Marlon Brawndo - 2020-08-29

Well he's always been outspoken on the issue of civil liberties. I know it's hard to look past your personal hatred but you can't deny that he has always had a good track record on that issue.

"Crazed mobs going after people are cool" - the POETv brain trust.

SolRo - 2020-08-29

He's a libertarian you know, even he would be offended to be called "people" like he's some common pleb.

So clearly it's a mob going after Randian Superman.

simon666 - 2020-08-30

I'm not sure this mob is "crazed", BHWW, at least not crazed in the way that, say, has led to the lynchings and murders of African Americans by crazed whites. Rather this seems to be a case where an elected official whose position as such normally insulates him from the blow back of his policy positions is now receiving a warranted haranguing; and let us not forget his policy positions and political calculations have contributed to the fiercely polarized social situation we find ourselves in in the US, such that he, Rand, bears responsibility for his position on the receiving end of the mob.

Marlon Brawndo - 2020-08-31

So he opposes the same police tactics they do but he deserves mob hatred.

We all know how well mob hatred always turns out.

simon666 - 2020-08-31

I think elected officials should be subjected to public haranguing when said officials exercise their power in ways that negatively impact the public, yes. Whether particular people of the public feel or express hatred towards the elected official is neither here nor there.
