Hardly true. We gave Afghanistan more than we gave Urkraine. We won't join the fight there, but we've supplied them with weapons and money. On the other hand, we fought for Afghanistan for 20 years. We gave them far more than we've given Ukraine, but we weren't able to give them the fighting spirit. Had they had it, we in the west would have happily cheered on them on as they repelled the Taliban.
