Part of the reason I submitted the clip was for its heartbreaking depiction of Japan's aging voreaphile population, in the form of that guy across the table. :`(
Kemonozume is a very bizzare show, somewhere between romance, action and horror. In general it is pretty refreshing for anime. I don't want to give away too much, but the basics are covered in the first episode:
Right away we're introduced to the Shokujinki, an ancient line of people cursed by forgotten gods to eat the flesh of other people. They normally appear human, but are big nasty monsters in their "natural" form. The Shokujinki are harried by an equally ancient family of warriors dedicated to hunting the monsters down and killing them (with a specialized style of kendo called Kifuken which results in nice and messy action scenes).
The story kicks off when Toshihiko, the heir to the Kifuken dojo meets and falls in love with Yuka, a Shokujinki.
