First of all, it's hardly cheap. Making nearly everyone in the world think you're a junkie douchebag for a year is a pretty high price for art. Secondly, it's hilarious.

So, according to you, the trick goes something like this "I'm an asshole!" A year passes. "I was only ACTING like a complete asshole, so I'm not really one!" And somehow the people who go jesus what a boring asshole are the stupid ones, and not you.
