Defend wasteful spending when its going toward irresponsible CEOs because its only a small part of the whole. Explode in fury at spending that helps homeowners because some of them were irresponsible, even though its a small part of the whole. Pretend that widespread public outrage is nothing more than Obama's talking point. Defend prioritizing the top 1% over everyone else by saying "the people I talk to agree with me".

Gee, I can't imagine why he's afraid to go on the Daily Show.

Camonk - 2009-03-18

He's both a moron and a coward. Wow, surprising from a fiscal conservative asshole!

dancingshadow - 2009-03-18

B or not a B

fatatty - 2009-03-18

As Jon Stewart might say: "FUCK YOU!"

Senator_Unger - 2009-03-18

You know, I clicked the back button so that would be a reply.

halon - 2009-03-18

God, I'll just go sit down in the corner now.

CNBC considers me not wanting my tax money to go directly into the pockets of the people whose incompetence is the reason why even more of my tax money is being thrown into a fire to merely be "populist outrage"

Isn't a bonus based on performance? What kind of atrocity would they have had to commit to not be eligible for any bonus? Good thing the're hanging on to those best and brightest.

simon666 - 2009-03-18

It's funny how people try to "transcend" something, in this case "populist outrage," when all they are doing is "objectifying," which neither transcendence nor negating its validity.

simon666 - 2009-03-18

also: "cnbc" "white people" and "douche" tags would be appropriate.

TeenerTot - 2009-03-18

Done and done.

Chancho - 2009-03-18

A bonus doesn't have to be based on performance. I've negotiated contracts where I get a minimum bonus regardless of what happens to the company.

afp3683 - 2009-03-18

Is that woman drunk? I would be if I had her job.

Udderdude - 2009-03-18

lol america

IrishWhiskey - 2009-03-18

Yeah, corrupt financiers taking public money while demanding that they not be held responsible or accountable certainly doesn't happen in any other country.

chumbucket - 2009-03-18

This whole thing has got the "mainstream media" salivating over the line in the sand it's created between "Wall Street" and "real Americans". Where would our news be if it weren't for the constant, contrived level of conflict we have day to day? I'm reaching the point of "who the fuck cares" and deciding to spend my savings on cheap whiskey and whores.

sosage - 2009-03-18

I like how everyone's face is twisted and distorted in both disgust and confusion. Like they hope his final point isn't going to go where it seems to be going.
