Oh gee he's a Texan there's a shocker. Also, a background of...Heineken?

We need this dude to come over here, and considering his complete obsession with replying multiple times to every goddamned comment, that shouldn't be too long.

"Knowing that evolution is false, thus rejecting it, doesn't equate to hating real science".

Subfuscious - 2009-05-25

Evolution is merely a false, ancient Sumerian religious belief?

I wonder if that particular bit of insight has even the slightest connection to reality, and if not, how on Earth the commentator came up with it.

Screwtape - 2009-05-25

ARE YOU A GOD!?

Subfuscious - 2009-05-25

ARE YOU A DOUCHE!?

Nithing - 2009-05-25

I believe it's something along the lines of "Sumerians worshipped animal-men deities... and so do the evolutionists!"

Camonk - 2009-05-25

Uh, Subfuscious, when someone asks you if you're a god... you say YES!

Camonk - 2009-05-25

"Secession for Texas would mean they would stop not only the flu but illegal immigration also."

Someone, and here I mean someone besides Goodhair Perry and all the Republic of Texas assholes, has no idea what things were like for Texas the last time it was its own country. Things went pretty bad.

IrishWhiskey - 2009-05-25

Very first comment he makes, and he's already confused the Deceleration of Independence with the Constitution. The Preamble to the Constitution doesn't actually mention God, a creator, or anything other than "We the people" creating a society for the betterment of all.

Oh, and the rest is wrong too.

IrishWhiskey - 2009-05-25

Also spellcheck appears to have confused the "Deceleration of Independence" and the "Acceleration of Deep-end-ence". Silly thing.

Squidmojo - 2009-05-25

I love the "deceleration of independence," I think it accurately describes the last fifty years.

But I think you meant the "Declaration of Independence." Which is less rad.

fluffy - 2009-05-25

The commenters' "Deceleration of Independence" nicely bookends the video creator not knowing how to spell "Maher."

Helena Handbasket - 2009-05-25

Stars to this

lol america

*Sigh* Creationists make me sad for humanity, but can't Americans find somebody better to tell them how stupid they are? Bill Maher is such an arrogant little prick...

Unfortunately, as usual, creationists think evolution is where one creature magically transforms into another through the use of fairy dust, so when something actually evolves, they call it "variation".

I do like the part where the author decides to start making gun threats against all those evil non-Texan commies, though.

SteamPoweredKleenex - 2009-05-26

I applaud just about anyone who points out the dumbassery of creationists.

That said, I only watch the "New Rules" segment of this show on YouTube so I can skip the rest. He's no John Stewart, that's for sure.

phalsebob - 2010-04-04

Creationists built all those hospitals? I think he is confusing some terms here.

Nominal - 2013-11-06

They're got "create" right there in their name!
