Cool...now make one for a sci-fi universe where fleet tactics matter.

They'll last longer against those poorly executed "arty" focus pulls than they will against that DEATH STAR!

I only voted this through because it was linked to that news story. Now I don't know how to rate this.

Don't tell them that Space is a three dimensional environment.

This is cool, and will make killing the earth's darkies easier.

This is annoying, it sounds annoying, and the way that it is shot is doubly annoying (I'd like to see the interface design, not people's backsides). I will therefore assume that the actual gameplay blows, as well.
Still, 4 stars for the concept.

I don't think I've ever played an RTS that captured three-dimensional combat better than the Homeworld series and I would give my right nut for a sequel.
Ever play Nexus: The Jupiter Incident?
It was a space combat game that decided to be fully 3D, yet had none of Homeworld's interface functionality to pull it off, reducing effective commands to "get closer" and "move away", ironically turning the whole thing into 1D.
I did play that and it was a pile of donkey shit IMO. Just give me another homeworld damn it.
